Amazon has worked on making his voice assistant, AlexaSmarter and more versatile with generative AI for quite a long time. However, the company has allegedly encountered technical obstacles to the upgrade correctly, which leads to more delays. Although Amazon is scheduled to uncover the AI-driven Alexa later this month, a new report indicates that it may not reach users immediately after February 26.
According to internal messages set of The Washington PostThe public release of the new Alexa has been pushed back by one month. A named Amazon employee told the publication that it may not come until March 31 or later, as Alexa still seems to be struggling to provide accurate answers to test questions.
Amazon is alleged to offer the new Alexa as part of a new subscription plan. It will include several advanced abilities, such as the ability for Alexa to use a personality, “Remember call, order takeaway or call a taxi.”
Alexa is not the only voting assistant to face problems with his AI-driven upgrade. Apple’s Siri also appears to be delays due to technical problems, with a recent report claiming that Apple can be releasing all the announced features when the new Siri rolls out with the iOS 18.4 update. The company can postpone some opportunities for iOS 18.5 hits iPhones sometime in May.
