Meta’s smart glasses with Ray-Ban have been an running hit, and the company doubles with several style variants. Beyond these it is also rumored that the company is working on a High-end version of the smart glasses with a built -in screen, which is expected to start by the end of the year. These glasses, the code name Hypernova, have now leaked, and given us our first glance at the next generation of Metas AI -smart glasses.

Leak Arsène lupine Have shared a rendering of a pair of smart glasses and an accessory to the wrist, claiming the couple to be the upcoming meta Hypernova glasses.

Admittedly, this is a pretty low resolution, but it gives us at least a fair look at the wrist accessory. What is this wrist accessories, you ask? ONE Previous Report claims that the Hypernova glasses will come up with a “neural” wristie controller, the codename ceres. These controls were in place for Metas Orion AR glasses, but they could also apparently be used by Hypernova to recognize hand gestures such as rotating the hand to scroll through apps, and pinch fingers and thumb to select items. It is unclear whether the depicted bracelet controller is the ceres controller, but that’s probably.

When it comes to the Hypernova glasses themselves, they do not look so different from the current generation meta-ray track, but previously leaks suggest that these include a built-in screen. The monocular screen will only be visible in the lower right quadrant on the right lens, but we cannot find out the screen in this low -soluble rendering.

When turned on, the display will display a home screen that consists of circular icons laid out horizontally, similar to the app dock we see on many devices. Users will be able to use dedicated apps to take photos, see photos and even access maps. Other expected features are said to include notification support for telephone apps, including WhatsApp and Messenger.

These glasses are said to be controlled using hand gestures using ceres and capacitive touch on the sides of the frame. Meta is also said to work to upgrade the camera on board the glasses.

Meta’s Hypernova Smart glasses are expected to be priced between $ 1000 and $ 1400. The final price (and potentially the final marketing name) is decided further the announcement. Meta is also said to already work with a second generation version of the product, the code name Hypernova 2, which will have two screens but will not come out until at least 2027.
