Youtube -creator Jeff springs Posted that they received a new UI 7 update, with the software version ending at Zybb.
Reddit -User luxojr_wky Also received the update. The update seems to roll out to Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra In the United States, even for locked devices. The update weighs only 436 MB, which is significantly smaller compared to former UI 7 -beta releases. For reference, the previous UI 7 Beta 4 update with software version ended in Zyba came into a decent large 1.4 GB.
Changelog only mentions that the update fixes a vvm -crash version (probably refers to visual answering machine), so we have to wait to learn more about its changes. The link mentioned only lands up at Samsung’s update documentation site But do not contain details of the 15-based update of Android.
Leaks suggested that Beta 5 would land in March, but it is already here in February. The same leak suggested that we could see as many as six total betas before we get a UI 7 -stable release for the Galaxy S24 series. Moderators on Samsung’s official forums the opposite leakage by suggesting that Beta 4 was the last beta. Both of these claims are wrong to a degree, and we have now beta 5 in February.
Given that Samsung remains close to what is happening, everyone is again guessing about the flagship’s update situation.
