  • The Google Wallet for Android now allows you to edit your customized passes through an edit button.
  • This is a welcome change as you previously had to delete and then add your customized passport again if you wanted to edit it.
  • This option seems to be a gradual release for now, so you may have to wait to see it on your phone.

Google Wallet achieved Custom pass functionality Almost a year ago, so users can create a digital passport from any text document. The app does not allow you to edit a customized passport to the fact, but it seems to change this week.

We discovered one Edit Button for customized passes so you can fine -tune the created passport. You can see this button in our screen below.

This is a useful feature, as the Google Wallet did not actually allow you to edit customized passes after you save them. Instead, a solution was to delete the created passport and add it again, as the app allows you to edit all passport details before saving it. However, this solution is not always possible, especially if you lost the original physical document or card.

Fortunately, this Edit The button means that you can now refine the wrong field accordingly. This is useful if the app simply made a mistake in capturing details, or if you have an old/damaged document. When I said it, colleague Joe Maring reported this on her phone, but I don’t look at my devices. That means you may have to wait a while to get this feature on your phone.

This is not the only remarkable Google Wallet feature we’ve seen in recent weeks. Last month, Google announced one The Close -determination feature function that Alerts you to use a specific passport when passing a point of interest. For example, the app can issue a notice of using your boarding pass when you are at the airport or ask you to use your loyalty card in a particular store.
