Samsung is about to start the next generation of its folding phones. When we get closer to any announcement, leaks have predicted, leaks. Previously we have seen CAD reproductions of both Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Now a new leak claims to give us a look at “official” reproductions of both hand sets.
With permission of Android HeadlineWe have a new collection of reproductions for Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 to check out. These “official” renditions present both folding in two Colorways, which is allegedly called Blue Shadow and Jet Black. Several Colorways are expected to be available, but these are the only two included in this report.
According to previous leaks, Samsung has made both assemblers quite thinner than previous iterations. Especially the fold 7, is rumored To be about 4.54 mm thin when unfolded, which would only be slightly thicker than Oppo finds N5 (4.21 mm). In the pictures above we can see Flip 7 and Fold 7 compared to the predecessors. While the flip has never been too thick, it is clear that Samsung has found a way to cut off some of the fat. However, the difference in size is even more noticeable between fold 7 and fold 6.
Both devices are also expected to get larger tire screens. For Flip 7 ditched Samsung the Manila folder-like design and chooses to use the entire cover. Meanwhile, the cover of Fold 7 is expected to grow from 6.3 inches to 6.5 inches. This will also result in a larger inner screen, which is said to be 8.2 inches.
Rumors point to June 9 as the date of Samsung’s next unpacked event. If that’s true, it means we just need to wait a few more weeks for the launch. In addition to these foldingness, Samsung’s next smart watches are expected to appear on the show. We may even get a teaser for Project moohan.
