- A leaked a UI 8 image suggests that the Samsung Gallery can get a private album feature to hide photos and videos.
- It can serve as a simpler version of Secure Folder, built directly into the Samsung Gallery app.
As many Samsung users are still getting used to a Ui 7, Android 16 Leakages are constantly coming. In the latest example, a leak from the latest construction of One UI 8 suggests that Samsung can test a new privacy feature in the Gallery app.
As detected by X user @DalgleishgxThe update includes a new private album option in the Samsung Gallery app. The leak speculates that it will act as a simplified version of Secure folder But in the Gallery app and exclusively be dedicated to hiding photos and videos. They shared the image below, apparently portrayed the feature in place.

Secure folder on Samsung devices allows users to unlock apps, files and media behind an extra layer of security. However, it stores goods in a separate container outside regular apps. A private album can offer a more easy option for users who want to keep specific images out of sight.
While a UI 8 is still developing, we expect it to provide better control over what apps do in the background, along with more predictive features. Reports suggest that we could see First beta release of the update as soon as this month, with the stable release expected later in the year. However, after the offset roll -out of a Ui 7, we must wait and see.
