OnePlus 13T is shaped to be a very attractive compact flagship, and thanks to an official teaser video (see below) published by the company, we now have a full look at the device.
The video shows the phone from all angles and offers a detailed first glimpse. Oppo, OnePlus’ parent company, also has listed OnePlus 13T on its website, which confirms that it will be available in three color options: powder (a soft pink), morning mouth gray and cloud ink black.
So, what makes OnePlus 13T stand out? First, the design takes a noticeable shift toward a more square aesthetic memories of recent iPhones and even Pixel 9 -Series. OnePlus also replaces its iconic notification slider with a new quick button with several features. This button will retain the ability to switch between quiet, vibrate and ring mode, but will also support customized actions to streamline different tasks. The teaser video gives a clear look at this new addition.
When it comes to specifications, the OnePlus 13T is expected to have a 6.32-inch screen, a battery capacity of at least 6,000 mAh, Snapdragon 8 elite chips and a dedicated “Esports Wi-Fi Chip G1.” It will also have a double rear camera setup, support for bypass charging and more. All in all, OnePlus 13T looks like a compelling package.
The big question now is whether OnePlus is planning to launch 13T in the United States. It is China launch is scheduled for April 24, but with ongoing customs problems and the recent unannounced Price rise of OnePlus Watch 3May the company opt out of an American release if it does not see a strong enough value proposal. Only time will turn out.
