- Google is preparing a new AI mode for search.
- In addition to being available online, the AI mode preparation has been underway for the Google app.
- We can now share an early preview of what this experience looks like in action.
Gemini changes the way we use so many of Google’s apps and services, and that’s probably no more true than it is when it comes to searching. While it started with AI overviewsWe are now because of an even bolder, more all-encompassing embrace when Google tests its full-on AI mode for search. We have already brought you an early look at how it AI mode is implemented in the Google appAnd now we take that preview a notch with a video practically.
Ease APK Demolition Helps predict features that may come to a service in the future based on work code. However, it is possible that such predicted functions may not come to a public release.
We check out version 16.9.39.Sa.arm64 Beta of the Google app for Android, where we can access the same interface with new shortcuts we shared with you before, and moved voice searches and lens options out of the search box to make room for AI mode. But even though we only had some screens for you at that time, we can now divide the interface into action:
As you can see, we have the floating search field campaign when we roll just as it does with regular searches, but now we can tap the icon to access Google’s AI mode. Presented with requests, it generates exactly the kind of detailed, organized response we have seen from AI mode before, with links available for all source material.
In addition to text and voice questions, you will also be able to interact with Search AI mode through the Google Lens, which we can see to pick up some new color accents implemented here. In addition to searching what you see with your camera, you should also be able to upload existing images in this way, making them a jumping point for the AI mode search. None of this is very surprising, but it is still nice to have an opportunity to see that it all comes together in action that we do here.
Right now, none of this is yet publicly available, but it certainly feels like we are getting closer and closer to the day when Google can give us a shot to officially start testing what search AI mode can do.
