OnePlus Watch 3 vs Apple Watch Series 10 Battery Life Showdown

The OnePlus Watch 3 Is the latest device on my wrist and I’m glad to say at least OnePlus seems to listen. I am less pleased to report that the Apple Watch Series 10S battery performed significantly worse. I tested both devices in a week of battery life, and my go-to wearable was absolutely smoked.

Official battery life requirements act as a useful baseline, but the use in the real world often varies. Factors ranging from Fitness Tracking With GPS to use telephone calls, everyone can affect battery life, and so does to enable or disable health tracking functions. Even a clock face can affect how quickly you drain a device’s battery.

For this test, I tried to use both watches as identical as possible. I activated each device always-on-screen and set up the same advanced health tracking features, including identical sleep plans. I used Native Watch Faces and tried to mirror notification settings, even if each watch is paired with another phone. At 12 o’clock on the first day, I both ran up to 100%. Then I attached the Apple Watch series 10 on the left wrist and OnePlus Watch 3 to the right.

Throughout the week, I used both watches to everything from tracking activity to checking in on my guide cameras. I also recorded GPS training sessions, used contemporary alarm plans, puts around the app libraries, and doubled mainly every action I could.

In 2012, I bought an overpriced NCAA’s national championship ticket and flew consciously to Miami to see my Alma Mater is definitely wrecked by Alabama. I expected to lose, but to watch the blow -out live from the grandstand still hurt. The results of this battery face officer felt very similar.

OnePlus clearly delivered a smart watch with the power center with its latest model. With its double technological architecture, massive 631MAH battery cell and efficient Wear OS 5 platform, it’s the Wear OS clock with the best power specifications available and the best long life of some of the ones I’ve tested.

Under heavy use, OnePlus claims that the battery life of the clock will last for three days. During this test the clock landed slightly below it, but I used it just as heavy as you can. It meant several GPS training sessions and several nights of tracking sleep before I needed to turn on. When the clock hit 10% battery, it automatically switched to power traarer mode to get more time on the wrist.

According to OnePlus, the battery life should extend as long as five days with less heavy use. This definitely depends on your settings and what features you activate. If you can live without an always-on-screen, you will be in good shape. And in a tighter pin you can rely on OnePlus SmartWatch for 16 days in Power Saver mode.

Under the same load and use, the Apple Watch series lasted 10 around 30 hours, an achievement possible possible thanks to low power mode. The Apple Watch Series 10’s battery life was pretty much longer than the company’s 18-hour claim, but still much shorter than I want. Every time I looked down at both watches, I was depressed to see the Apple Watch power slide quickly to comparison. While a short night of sleep tracking costs 10% of the battery on the Apple Watch, it only consumed about 6% of OnePlus Watch 3’s. Similarly, an hour’s GPS training burned much more battery life on Apple Watch than OnePlus Watch 3.

OnePlus is the king of the battery life in the Wear OS field, and it is obviously not a title it takes easy. The company actually improved this model’s production despite buyers (including myself) was already impressed with last year’s specifications. Ticwatch Pro 5 Enduro (349.99 dollars at Amazon) Is the closest competitor, with its unique battery -saving double screen. However, you will not find the latest Wear OS 5 on board, and given how long on Os 4 took to land on it, I do not hold my breath.

Apple Watch’s battery life is still one of the brand’s biggest deficiencies. Each year, Apple launches a flagship with an 18-hour requirement, apparently deaf to users’ requests for more. It is the Ultra setting for better battery specifications, but these watches are also twice the price and insurmountable expensive for most buyers.

Unfortunately, if you are locked in the iOS ecosystem as I am, Apple Watch is still your only real choice for a seamless smartour experience. Athletes can consider a Garmin option like Venu 3 (449.99 dollars at Amazon), but it will mean sacrificing some important smart features. Unfortunately, OnePlus Watch 3 is not compatible with iPhones, so even though it is a very attractive competitor, it can only bother Apple users or convert them. Personally, I am too deep into the ecosystem, so I stick to Apple Watch, just a little heartbeat.
