The most desirable smartphone is always the model you can’t actually get, right? Whether we are talking about next year’s phone, or someone who only exists on the outside of the planet, and cannot get the hand on a phone, we immediately make us want it all the more. Last year there was probably no hand set that had more frustrated with their access to it than Hauwei’s triple screen, double folding Mate xtThanks to the astronomical price tag and severely limited retail. Earlier this month Huawei was finally teased a Mate XT extensionWith plans to share news about the international spread this week. Today, we are finally starting to learn these details about how the next wave of Mate XT users will have access.
On Huawei’s Earlier today in Kuala Lumpur, the company outlined the company plans to expand the Mate XT sales from China to Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. It is a little more limited than we are sure that many of you hoped to see, but Huawei leaves the door open for further sales in markets beyond just them.
Perhaps the most encouraging teaser for the possibility that sales eventually come to Europe is how the Huawei shared the Mate XT pricing, and offers the € 3499 number in the euro you see above. Right now it equates to around $ 3,655. Although it is pretty much higher than what the pricing that was prepared when we first saw the Mate XT debut in China, remember that the phone has been available in storage configurations that start as low as 256 GB, while this international pricing only applies to the highest Tier 1TB storage level. Although the 23 999 Chinese yuanes that the alternative went, only around $ 3,300 corresponds, so there is still some premium involved here.
As impressive as Mate XT is still, Huawei may think about getting it out in even more markets before rather than later, as folding competition does not slow down. Besides the company’s own Mate XT follow-up We expect us to look forward to a Samsung Triple-Screen effort at some point, to say nothing about impressive technical advances from folders with double screen as Oppo Finn N5.
