Google’s new Gmail Summary Card for bills comes finally

Gmail is so much more than just a way of sending and receiving e -mail, and Google has packed it with AI-driven tools It provides a lot of extra functionality. One of these is the app’s support for Summary cardThey automatically generated the highlights of things such as flight details or package tracking information. This week, Google’s sharing of some upgrades is currently arriving for how summary cards handle bills.

Last fall, Google announced some changes coming to summary cards, with a new look and new action buttons, so you can quickly do things without having to read through full e -mail messages. They affected the cards used for e -mail about events, bills, purchases and travel. The updated purchase cards went live at that time, but Google said it could be a few more months before the rest was ready. The new event card the country last month, and now Google Workspace Team announces that the new bill cards are ready to go.

As you can see, the Bill summary cards include buttons to quickly pay the bill, or see the complete document to check out all the details within. If you are not ready to pay a bill, just let that reminder button allow you to add an entry to Google tasksHelps you avoid late costs.

We are still waiting for a new “happening soon” in Gmail that Google announced at the same time as these card updates. When it finally comes, you will easily be able to see all the summary cards associated with upcoming dates all in one place, right at the top of the inbox. Google indicated that this would also be rolled out during the months after October, but we are not exactly surprised that it looks like it will be the last of these changes to actually landing.

Summary cards for bills should be available now to anyone using the Gmail app on both iOS and Android.
