There are hot smartphones, and then it is smartphones that are hot. This is the latter.
Just over 20 years ago, the original Motorola Razr Debuted as one of the most stylish phones to date, with an elegant, fantastic building. It wasn’t long before they were a must-have accessory, discovered in the hands of celebrities everywhere-as a certain young heir who just entered the reality TV game: Paris Hilton.
Hilton’s connection to the Razr brand would come back for its modern belt as a folding smartphone, and appeared in campaign campaigns like the video you watch below. Now Motorola and Hilton come together to formalize the relationship with whatever other than a shocking pink phone: Razr Plus Paris Hilton Edition.
Available from this coming Thursday 13th February, the Motorola Razr Plus Paris Hilton Edition (Phe) will be decorated in a new “Paris Pink” Colorway. The lower back panel has Hilton’s signature, but perhaps the most iconic design element here is to put her “it’s hot” catch phrase right on Razr’s hinge.
As if the phe was not pink enough, this Razr Plus also comes together with a matching pink vegan leather bag, complete with two different wrist straps, so you can change the design. No matter which one you go with, the phone will end up looking like a small bag and that just tracks completely for this project.
Admittedly, the hardware is definitely the star of the show here, but Paris-Iification by Razr Plus Phe also extends to software, also: Motorola equates the phone with a collection of exclusive notifications, alerts and wallpapers. It even comes in all the custom packaging with a “personal” message from Hilton himself.
As you probably just assume when you hear about a folding smartphone with Paris Hilton branding, this hand set is not exactly priced for budget-set buyers. Officially, MSRP for 2024 Moto Razr Plus is about $ 1000, although these days you can easily find a discounted for hundreds less. Meanwhile, Razr Plus Phe will demand almost $ 1,200 when it goes on sale later this week. If it sounds reasonable to you, well, congratulations on your parents’ successful hotel empire.
