- Samsung’s budget Galaxy F06 5G phone comes with a UI 7, which is based on Android 15.
- Meanwhile, most of Samsung’s setup still expects information about the One UI 7 update.
- Only users of the Galaxy S25 series can enjoy Stable One UI 7 right now, while Galaxy S24 users are on a UI 7 Betas.
It is safe to say that Samsung has dropped the ball on A Ui 7 Update. While the update itself is fantastic on devices that Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung’s non-compulsory to further details about when Android 15-Based update will arrive on other devices is confusing. Even the flagship Galaxy S24 series runs on Betas, while the top level folding Galaxy Z Fold 6 is left waiting. Fortunately, Samsung has added another device to the One UI 7 list, but it is surprisingly a budget phone.
Samsung has just launched the Galaxy F06 5G in India. It is the second phone in the set out that is sent with a Ui 7, based on Android 15, straight out of the box.

The Galaxy F06 is a budget phone with a 6.74 -inch HD+ screen, Mediatek Dimensity 6300 SOC, a 50MP primary camera with a 2MP secondary camera and an 8MP front camera. The 4 GB+128 GB variant starts on Rs. 9,999 (~ $ 115).
Samsung has not yet revealed the first sales date for Galaxy F06. If it happens over the next few days, this humble budgetary phone will send with stable a UI 7 before most of Samsung’s expansive installation, which consists of phones like the Galaxy Z -Folded 6 that can go up to $ 2,260, may experience it. Imagine paying so much money just half a year ago, and a $ 100 budget phone will still be on the latest and best OS update before doing so.
We do not expect a UI 7 on the Galaxy F06 to be the full experience. Samsung usually sends a UI core on the budget phones with less powerful hardware. This core software experience is missing out on features such as Good Lock and Samsung Knox, although the Galaxy F06 comes with Samsung Knox Vault, so we have to see what is missing in the software experience on this budget phone.
On the other hand, Samsung’s flagship, such as the recent Galaxy S series and the Galaxy Z series, will probably get a full package of features, although we cannot say with certainty since Samsung continues to remain close to the wider UI 7 plans.
Android 15 has been out since October 2024, and many OEMs have been squeezing out their updates to even the mid-tone phones. Samsung’s refusal of even talking about a Ui 7 is just confusing at this time, and users deserve better. Galaxy S25 users can enjoy one UI 7 -Stable update; Galaxy S24 users can look forward to the fourth UI 7 -beta that may arrive next week. Anyone else can be jealous of a $ 100 budget phone.
