- Oppo has shared new images showing Find N5 located next to Samsung’s flagship foldable.
- The images highlight the unit’s minimal display crash, which is virtually invisible in comparison with the Galaxy Z -Fold 6.
- The images also confirm the device’s selfie camera, notification slider, USB port and button placement.
Oppo is expected to launch its next flagship folding before the end of the month, and it has started sharing teasers that give us glimpses of the updated design. The company recently gave us our first glance at Find N5’s extremely slim profile and published a video showing a side by side comparison with the found n3. Although it has not revealed the device specifications, an Oppo leader has confirmed that it will be the world’s thinnest folding phone. Now another official teaser has given us a closer look at the almost scary folding screen.
In a recent post on LinkedinOppos Pete Lau shared photos of Find N5 next to Samsung’s Galaxy Z -Fold 6. Like its predecessor, Find N5’s Display curl is much less pronounced than for Samsung’s flagship foldable. This is a remarkable feat, considering that the Find N5 is expected to measure less than 9.2 mm when folded, while the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is 12.1 mm thick.
In addition to the almost invisible screen crime, the teas images confirm that the Find N5 will contain a selfie camera built into the upper right corner of the inner screen, a USB port in the lower edge of the right half, and a warning slider on the left edge. The unit also appears to have a speaker grille in the lower edge of the left half and the volume lashes and power button on the right edge.
The device that was shown in these images is similar to the leaky images of the Find N5 we have seen before, so it is safe to assume that it will contain a circular camera on the back with a triple camera setup. Although Oppo has remained tight on the device’s specification 3D -printed titanium alloy hinges, and a Periscope zoom camera.
Oppo recently confirmed that the Find N5 will receive an international launch while the Chinese debut later this month. Although we do not have a specific launch date, it should not be long before the company officially announces the event.
