OnePlus has offered notified slider at most Android phones in a decade now and this tradition continues at OnePlus 13. We have even set up the transition on the recent high-end phones.
Now, leaking Digital Chat Station Has claimed on Weibo that OnePlus and Oppo (the so-called Ouga group) will release the notification slider in favor of a button. The tipster added that this button will be customized and support more features.
The leak was similar to this new button with the action button that was seen on iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 Families. Of course, Android phones from brands that HMD have long offered remodelable hardware buttons.
It would be a shame if OnePlus and Oppo dropped the three -stage warning slider. But I imagine that a circulation button would be more useful for most people, so they can quickly start their favorite apps, activate certain system features (eg flashlight) or act as a camaraderie. That is why a button like this will also support changes in the sound profile.

The good news is that the upcoming Oppo Find N5 still has the notification slider, and the phone is expected to start as OnePlus Open 2 in some markets. So there is a chance that we can see at least one for oneplus phone with the slider if the company decides to drop the function.
