- A leaked construction of a UI 8 has been discovered for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, and follows up the same for the Galaxy Z board 6 a few days ago.
- This UI 8 -building provides small updates, such as cards, log video recording support for more devices, and some more less UI changes.
- These smaller additions indicate that Samsung only redirects a smaller UI 7.1 and parades it as a UI 8.
A Ui 7 Have hardly reached Samsung’s older flagships, and we already have a UI 8 leaks. We recently saw leaked photos showing off an internal building of the upcoming update on a Galaxy Z -Fold 6. Now another report highlights all the changes expected to come up with one UI 8.
Sammobile Have got the hands of a UI 8 -building for Galaxy Z Flip 6. According to the report, the changes from a UI 7 to One Ui 8 are so small that Samsung apparently has only disguised the one UI 7.1 update as a UI 8. It is said that Samsung could have released these new features already with a Ui 7, but not chosen.
For example, it is said, for example, to come to older Samsung flagships with this update, but the underlying code already exists in a Ui 7.
Furthermore, One Ui 8 adds the log video recording support to the Camera app, but the feature debuted with a UI 7 on the Galaxy S25 series and is only available on the Galaxy S24 series with the One UI 7 update.
New improvements include changes in rapid sharing, with the menu that now houses two sections: Receive and send. Switching to the reception tab automatically makes your device temporarily visible to other devices and stops when you leave it. This is said to be better than switching visibility settings in a timer.
Other changes are shaded icons in the Quick Settings panel (although this may be a fault) and surrounded icons for some menu buttons in the Gallery app.
The report concludes by saying that Samsung can add a few more new features and improvements to a UI 8. However, you should keep expectations rooted, as Samsung may not have enough time to make any sweeping changes. Galaxy Z -fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 Expected to start with one UI 8 -front load, and the report claims that other existing devices can get the update as soon as the next three months. Samsung can even skip a beta program, and it should give you an idea of how small things change under the hood.
