- Google has updated fast share so users can now preview files before they actually receive them.
- This change can help users ensure that they receive the right file.
- The change rolls out with the latest update of Google Play Services.
Quick proportion Is a great way to share files between Android devices, so you can transfer content without internet connection. Now Google Still has made a small but welcome fine tuning to the feature.
The last Google Play Services Release (version 25.14) gives users a preview of content before accepting a file via fast sharing. The feature is currently asking you to accept or reject a file, but does not show you a preview until after the file is downloaded, as shown below.
This change means that you now have a better idea of what you get before you actually receive it, so you can make a more informed decision to accept or reject the file. This can be useful if you receive an image from a stranger and will not receive critical content. It can also be useful if someone is inadvertently sending you the wrong file.
