From Monday, March 31 to Thursday, April 3, 2025, Moulin de Moissac welcomed the 29th edition of the meeting of the Young Mass Spectrometry Club.
This event organized by Magali Godard, Carla Orlandi and Ella Tyson and which forms the organization committee with the Board of Directors of the Young Mass Spectrometry Club, combines 36 participants, students and future researchers in mass spectrometry, from all European cities such as Berlin, Liège and Rouen.
Carla Orlandi, a doctoral student in the third year at the Inrae Toxalim in Toulouse and in the Metatoul axis laboratory, is one of the organizers of this issue.
She chose Moissac as a meeting point for her rich cultural heritage and her ideal framework, which meets the requirements of the event.
The opportunity to explore the city
The participants visit five teachers at courses and present their research work on various topics by specifying the technology of mass spectrometry in the areas of health, toxicology, the food industry. But also basic sciences.
This meeting, which was organized under the Aegis of the French Society for Mass Spectrometry, is a valuable opportunity for the scientific exchange and the networking of young researchers.
