- Unlike Samsung’s official Fold 6 cases, all Fold 7 cases can only offer protection against the panel.
Dutch publication New mobile Has uncovered official reproductions of the cases Samsung will offer for Galaxy Z -fold 7. These include a clear case, a clear grip -a clear magnet case, a silicone case and a carbon fiber bag. As you expect, the clear case is quite minimal and consists of a single piece to protect Fold 7’s back panel. It has a raised lip around the camera module and carvings for the volume laber and power button. This case will reportedly act for € 49 (~ $ 57).
Like its predecessor, Galaxy Z Fold 7 will also get a clear grip, which can act for € 53 (~ $ 62). However, the reproductions suggest that this case will also offer protection for the back panel, making it a clear downgrade compared to the Clear Grip case for Fold 6, which included an extra bumper for the front half.
The Clear Magnet case for Fold 7 is almost identical to the basic clear case, and the main difference is a ring of magnets that will make the device compatible with Qi2 chargers and accessories. Therefore, it will be a little more expensive and can act for € 57 (~ $ 67).
Samsung also appears to have updated the design of the silicone case this year, with the renditions suggesting that it no longer includes a front piece or built -in grip. It will still have a kick stand and come in black, blue, gray and light green to match Fold 7s Colorways. Due to the omissions, the silicone case may be cheaper than last year and cost around € 69 (~ $ 81).
Finally, Fold 7 could get a new carbon fiber bag called Carbon Shield. Like the other cases, it will only offer protection for the back panel and have a diagonal carbon fiber tissue, a raised lip around the camera module and carvings for the buttons. The Carbon Shield case may be Samsung’s most premium offer and retail for € 89 (~ $ 104).
