  • Samsung’s safe folder lets you lock files and even entire apps behind an extra layer of protection.
  • One Ui 8 has already begun to improve how safe folders are available, with a fast shortcut.
  • Now we see Samsung add new settings for secure folder apps to your stock sheet.

Samsung likes to present the Galaxy Smart Phones as particularly secure devices, and has long leaned on its Knox Security Framework to highlight these features. It includes Secure folderCompany’s system for sequestive sensitive or just personal content behind a little extra security, requiring extra authentication – at least, that’s how it is assumed to work. Today, we are checking out a recent change that looks like it will help to streamline how to work with secure folder apps.

Secure folder is not just a place to store the media and download files, and Samsung also supports installing entire apps in this secure enclave. With A Ui 8have we already seen Samsung implement new controls around this functionality, such as the ability to Quickly hide the safe folder And all apps installed there. As we continue to crawl through Samsung’s Beta releases, we have become aware of another fine adjustment for secure folder apps.

In one Ui 8, Samsung introduces a new setting that allows you to check if apps installed in your secure folder are shown as sharing dimensions in the sheet from other apps (please: The josh -lighthouse at x).

When activated, just as it says on the tin, you will easily share content from normal apps with those locked behind Secure Folder’s protection. We can easily imagine reasons why Galaxy users can potentially want to get that exchange turned in both directions, but what way makes the most sense to you will depend a lot on both what you use safe folder for and what specific apps you continue to remove in there.

Samsung’s Android 16-based A Ui 8 beta Have been on a solid start so far, and we saw the third big release of rolling out just a few days back. Samsung still has a little more work to do before this update is ready to hit stalls but with the company’s big Foldable unpacked arrangement Planned to take place in less than a week, however, we may be very close to getting some official release news. Come back with us 9. July for all the details to appear.
