I’m a pixel fan. I have used one of Googles phones For a few years now and don’t really plan to switch to another brand. It is easily my favorite and most widely used technology product, but over the years I have made many other technology purchases that have proven to be well worth the money.
Today I will guide you through a list of my five most important devices that I own and use regularly – at least once a week. What is interesting is that some of these were actually quite affordable and are relatively old at this time, but they still perform more than good enough. Because of their continued reliability, I am not planning to upgrade any of them soon.
What was your favorite technological purchase outside your phone?

1. Logitech MX Keys S and MX Master 3s

Mitia Rutnik / Android Authority
These are technically two separate products, but since I use them together for most of my work, I collect them as one. As you can imagine, my job requires me to stare at a screen for eight hours a day and do a lot to write. A good keyboard is absolutely essential to me and I honestly don’t think you can beat what Logitech’s MX keys’ s have to offer.
The writing experience is simply fantastic according to my standards. The keyboard itself is very thin and looks incredibly elegant on my desk. There are many customizable shortcut buttons available, so I can do almost anything from setting my preferred brightness levels to adjusting the volume without touching the mouse. In addition, there is a practical backlight that comes in handy at night. I have tried countless wireless keyboards over the years, and you couldn’t pay me to switch to any of them. The MX keys S is just so good.
It’s a similar story with MX Master 3’s Mouse. The ergonomic design is superb and fits perfectly in my hand. It can boast more customized buttons than standard mice and can be adapted extensively via the Logitech Options+ app. I really can’t find a mistake with it, although I have to admit that I was equally happy with the smaller Logitech MX anywhere I used before. Both are wonderful.
2. Kindle Paperwhite

I love to read, and I strongly prefer an e-reader rather than a physical book for several important reasons. It is incredibly easy to carry around, slides into almost any bag, and it takes up significantly less space than the dozens of physical books I read per year.
In spite of my interest in staying ahead of the technology, it is Kindle Paperwhite I own is really old – I have the second generation model that was originally announced in 2013. And do you know what? I’m not upgrading. Newer models are obviously better, with some even sporting one IP -water resistance assessmentBut I don’t really care. My old Kindle gives everything I need, and will probably continue to serve me faithfully for at least a few more years.
One of my favorite features is how I can just take it to the beach with me and read comfortably under the burning sun. It is incredibly difficult to do with a phone, as the glare on the screen makes it very difficult to read for an extended period of time. For a Kindle, however, the type of bright sunlight causes no problems due to the e-IK screen. Kindle is such a simple and relatively affordable unit, but it is one I am most associated with.
3. Soundcore Motion Plus

I don’t want to call myself an audio file, but I really like good sound quality, especially since I’m really in music. However, I will not spend an insane amount of money on a Bluetooth speaker from one of the most important premium brands. The Ankers Soundcore line has become my chosen brand when it comes to laptop, and I couldn’t be happier with my speaker.
I bought my Soundcore Motion Plus Back in 2020, and it’s really a big speaker. I use it constantly. I listen to music to relax, or when I exercise, something I should definitely do more of. I also often use it when I have a zoom crop. I connect my PC to the speaker via Bluetooth, so I can hear my colleagues much more clearly. The difference in sound quality between it and the laptop’s built -in speakers is huge.
As a visual person, I also really appreciate the design of Soundcore Motion Plus. It just fits nicely into all parts of my apartment, and mixes seamlessly. It is aesthetically comfortable to look at, but does not stand out too much. Overall, the value I got was fantastic, especially considering that I only paid around a hundred dollars for it.
4. Soundcore Liberty 4 NC

To keep me on the theme of sound, I also own a couple of earplugs from Soundcore. I had the same logic here – I want quality sound, but don’t want to use an arm and a leg. The review for these earbuds of our sister side Soundguys Was excellent, and since these guys definitely know what they’re talking about, I just went for them.
No one regrets so far, since they are very comfortable to wear, the sound quality is more than sufficient for my needs, and they look good too. The lifetime of the battery is great, and the charging case they come in is small enough for me to easily fit it in my pocket when I need to go places.
Just like with the Soundcore speaker, these earplugs represent enormous value to me. I paid less than a hundred dollars for them. What is even better, the anchor thrown even a couple Q20i headphones Free, so I was very happy with my purchase in general.
5. Garmin Forerunner 745

Jimmy Westenberg / Android Authority
Since I sit for the majority of the working day, stare at a screen and write at a keyboard, I have to exercise every day to move my body. It’s a great way for me to stress. I do many activities, but my most important running.
I try to run a few times a week and I always bring with me Trusty Garmin Watch With me. Although it is not as affordable as the Soundcore products above, it is well worth the price I paid for it. I love tracking my races to see how much mileage I have collected, so I can gradually try to increase the distance. The clock also lets me check the pulse and offers a bunch of pre -loaded training mode that can really help me reach my goals. Although many of these features may seem sketchy on paper, they are actually very valuable – and free.
What I particularly like about it is that it is one of the products that will serve me for many years before I will even consider replacing it. It has all the functions I need, as long as it continues to work reliably and the battery life stays in order, I have absolutely no reason to upgrade.
These are my five important technology products, in addition to my beloved pixel phone. Now I want to hear about yours. Go to the comments section and let me know which devices you regularly use and what makes them so special.
