From businessman to politician, and now to the provider of wireless service? When he gets out of the left field, it looks like the Trump organization is now looking to utilize the Trump name to bring the telephone service to his Fanbase.
According to to the Trump organizationThe company will not directly run Trump Mobile and licenses instead the rights to a named third party. Trump Mobile will offer only one plan, called the 47 plan, as a non-SO-Subtle nod to Trump’s current presidential term. The company will also offer its Trump theme T1 phone, although you can also bring your own device-as We would definitely recommend buying this thing.
The 47 plan claims to have the same coverage as the three major carriers, as well as unlimited conversation, text and data for $ 47.45 a month. There are also about $ 15 in extra fees beyond that price tag. Of course, several other prepaid carriers offer the same general functions for especially less. For example, visible varies from $ 25 to $ 45 a month with taxes and fees included. To stand out, Trump Mobile includes some less common benefits, which we will focus on a little later.

Marketing gimmicks aside, is Trump Mobile actually a decent alternative to other prepaid suppliers? Honestly, probably not, but let’s start by looking at what it actually offers.
What do you get with Trump Mobile?

Trump Mobile is a mobile virtual network operator, which means that it does not run its own towers and instead cooperates with existing networks. While many prepaid carriers only offer service via a partner, Trump Mobile will reportedly offer coverage through all three major networks. This is not unheard of in any way; A few independent prepaid suppliers are able to offer coverage from all three networks, with Us mobile to be one of the most famous examples. US mobile lets you even run two networks at the same time, for an optional fee.
It is still unclear how Trump Moby’s multi-network support will work, but based on what I have been able to dig up, it will probably assign you to the carrier that is most compatible with your cityod device or the Trump T1 phone. You may be able to choose a network manually, although there are no official details yet. In any case, I will not be able to easily switch between networks on the go – or use two at the same time – as these features would almost certainly be highlighted if they were part of the offer.
Trump Mobile’s unlimited speech, text and 20 GB data is quite standard, but they are priced on the high side.
I can also reasonably guess that at least the T-Mobile connection will be on low priority data. This is of course speculative, but it is worth noting that Google FI is the only known supplier with access to high priority to T-Mobile’s network. So it’s safe to assume that Trump Mobile doesn’t want that benefit. When it comes to AT&T and Verizon, they have shown more flexibility in offering higher priority to choose partners, so it’s possible – but I didn’t want to bet on it.
As he moves past carrier support, Trump Mobile also promises unlimited conversation, text and 20 GB high -speed data. There is no word about what happens when you hit the high -speed data cap, but judging by how similar plans are working, it is very likely that it will be a fixed speed hood for all data used afterwards. For example, the Google FI gas goes down to only 256 kbps, hardly enough to even load your e -post. There is also a possibility that Trump Mobile can only lower the speeds in times of heavy overload, like basic plans from carriers as visible, but usually it is clearly spelled out if that is the case.
As you can see, there is really nothing here that looks too different than other prepaid carriers, many of whom cost almost half the price of the 47 plan. That being said, there are three quite unusual benefits worth talking about, and then we will quickly cover international functions as well.
Three fairly unusual benefits: telecommunications health, unit protection and assistance at the roadside

While many carriers offer unlimited data and limited international conversation functions, it is not every day you hear about a mobile phone plan that adds telecommunications health, free unit protection and assistance at the roadside to the mixture. As you may have guessed, Trump collaborates with other companies for these features.
Let’s start with the most remarkable of the three functions: the included telecommunications benefits. Through a partnership with DocTegity, Trump promises Mobile 24/7/365 access to board certified suppliers and behavioral and mental health services-included life coaching, nutrition advice and more-available via video or telephone calls. There is also a pharmacy RX discount program that covers over 100 medicines, with some even free after the discount is used.
To use accessories for telecommunications health, the roadside and unit protection, you can save.
From what I collect, you can access most of these services directly from a doctor with its $ 29-month subscriptionSo if this is something you already want to subscribe to, this benefit may be worth it. Of course, many health insurance providers (including Medicaid suppliers offer in some cases) telemedicine at no extra cost already, so I would recommend doing some research on your existing benefits before jumping on this feature.
Continuing from Telehealth, Trump Mobile has entered into a collaboration with Omega Mobilecare for limited device protection. I want to be honest – I’m not particularly familiar with this brand, and although it can raise an eyebrow, I’m not ready to call it a red flag yet. What is evident from the official website is that this is unit protection, not insurance. Of course, it works in the same way as insurance, as all cityods or purchased devices will include up to $ 2000 per year in coverage for:
- Mechanical or electrical collapse
- Cracked screen replacement due to accidental malpractice
- Replacement with a unit of “same species and quality” if they cannot fix it
Although the complete terms are not available online yet, this certainly does not sound too different than other prepaid insurance programs. Usually, these services can range from $ 5 to $ 15 or more a month, depending on your benefits and how expensive your device is.
Last but not least, the benefits of the roadside are powered by Drive America and include a $ 100 monthly tow allowance, flat tire help, battery help and lockout assistance.
Are these accessories a good value?
Technically, yes. If you were to register separately for the assistance of the roadside, unit protection and telecommunications health, you can easily spend an additional $ 40- $ 50 a month. However, there is a catch: You may already have some of these benefits elsewhere, or you may find that paying separately provides better benefits.
The telecommunications plan may not be necessary, depending on your existing insurance, and even the roadside assistance can already be covered through your car insurance or a club membership such as AAA, which usually offers better features.
Optional equipment is good value, but check that you are not already covered elsewhere.
When it comes to insurance or unit protection, pricing can vary considerably, but third-party options can provide better coverage. In addition, manufacturers such as Apple and Google offer their own forms of device protection, often with even greater benefits than those Trump Mobile has provided.
How are the international features compared to the other prepaid options out there?

Edgar Cervantes / Android Authority
Usually, pre -paid plans that are priced over $ 40 are considered as premium options. These tend to include benefits such as SmartWatch connection, international roaming and sometimes even streaming services. For example, visible plus pro, sold for $ 45 a month, but includes Premium enhancement such as SmartWatch service, unlimited calls to 85 countries and unlimited texting to 200 countries from the United States. You also get free calls, texts and data in the US and Canada, plus two global passport days per month for use for over 200 destinations.
Unfortunately, Trump Mobile does not include any of these premium international features, which is disappointing at this price point. Of course, this is because the prize here is used on the three unique features mentioned earlier.
You may not get international roaming, but the good news is that you can call around 100 different destinations for free from the United States. However, each country has another maximum hood for minutes per month, ranging from as little as 5 minutes to unlimited.
Should you consider Trump’s service over the competition?

At first glance, Trump Mobile comes over as a strong brand offer, and it’s probably of design. Although it includes a few really interesting features, the total package feels more like a marketing vehicle than a disruptive carrier. Whether it can deliver its promises – especially around customer service and continuous support – remains to be seen. It is also worth noting that similar or better benefits may be available from established prepaid suppliers such as visible or US mobile. Visible is significantly cheaper and includes really unlimited service, while US Mobile offers comparable support for three networks with more flexibility when it comes to switching between them.
Although I will not determine the final judgment before Trump Mobile fully launches and the supplier releases detailed terms and conditions beyond the current minimalist placeholdersIt is safe to say that there are other options available that can scrape similar itching more efficiently. The fact that Trump Mobile is more of a gimmicky license agreement than a real prepaid carrier, it doesn’t help that much either.
