ASUS is one of the few players who continually tried to cause changes in the PC industry. With the formation of PC or Aio, the company is trying to look home or office. The brand has been constantly launching Aio on the market for some time, which has been charged with a set of premium resources and decent performance. Banks on this success, the company recently introduced the ASUS V400 PCs Aio series in the market. I was lucky enough to use the ASUS V470va model for a while now to understand if it still makes sense to buy an Aio at a time when elegant and premium laptops are taking the houses. So here is what you need to know.
ASUS V470VA All-in-One PC Design: Sturdy and colorful
- Dimension – 210 x 447 x 613mm
- Weight – 9.0 kg
- Colors – White
The Asus V470Va certainly seems modern and minimal. The moment you take the device from the package, you will notice your elegant look. And configuring it is not an annoyance either. You just need to screw the base plate for Aio, although, due to its size, you may need some extra hands. Once done, connect the adapter, put it to a table, connect the keyboard and wireless mouse and voilà, you’re ready to go.
Asus V470VA is available in the white option.
That said, the chassis feels premium compared to its predecessors. Aio is also more elegant compared to previous models, which makes it appear more modern. Aio has rounded corners and an elegant profile, facilitating the place comfortably in an office at home or even in your living room.
The hinge also looks tough and you can tilt the screen as you prefer, which is a good -end feature. Interestingly, this aio also comes with an IR -based retractable webcam that is carefully hidden inside the chassis. This also allows a physical level of privacy. The rear panel of the device is equally refined. The doors are located at the bottom of the rear panel, making them easily accessible. And, more importantly, you can easily manage the cables through the metal finish support.
That said, Aio is not the lightest available on the market, but moving it from one place to another is not a frightening task.
The Asus V470VA comes with a multitude of connectivity ports.
Arriving at the doors, the Asus V470va offers a multitude of doors. You get a 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, a LAN port, a DC-in port, a HDMI-in port, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and an HDMI-out port. There are also some ports at the bottom of the right side, including a Type A USB 2.0 port, a 3.5mm audio socket, a HDMI button, and a Kensington lock slot.
There are many doors in this, and I really liked the fact that the company has included the HDMI-in and HDMI-out ports, which means you can easily connect any external device, such as your PlayStation, to this Aio and use it as a monitor. At the same time, HDMI-in facilitates the use of the screen as an external monitor.
ASUS V470VA All-in-One PC Display: Large screen experience makes it worth
- View – 27 inch IPS LCD IPs
- Resolution – Full HD (1080×1920 pixels)
- Update Rate – 100Hz
One of the main highlights of this aio is the screen. The 27 -inch IPS panel is likely to be one of the best I used in this price segment for some time. The screen features an impressive 93 % body-screen proportion and offers 178 degree viewing angles. The thin panels give a sense of advantage to the tip, which is a good thing. More importantly, the company has added an anti-enseaded coating, which makes it easier to use, even if the light source is right behind you.
The ASUS V470VA has a 27 -inch Full IPS Full IPS screen that offers 100Hz upgrade fee.
The large screen offers good color playback. The company states that the screen comes with 100 % SRGB and 72 % NTSC coverage, which further increases color playback. The colors look natural and the dynamics are also decent, although it is not as large as an OLED panel.
You will not receive these blacks with paint, which are particularly noticeable when watching little illuminated scenes in a movie or series. That said, Asus offers two different, splendid and vivid modes that provide some degree of control over saturation and contrast. That said, the 100Hz update rate certainly makes the animations and rolling much more soft. However, it is still advisable to keep it from a distance so that you do not stretch your eyes.
ASUS V470VA All-in-One PC keyboard, mouse, speakers and webcam
- Keyboard – normal wireless keyboard
- Webcam – Camera IR of 1080p
- Speakers – 5W x 2 with dolby atmos
ASUS provides a wireless keyboard and mouse with the V470VA, both colorful for the unit. The keyboard has a full size layout, including a numerical keyboard. That said, I was very disappointed with the combination of keyboard and mouse to be sincere. Typing on the keyboard was a bad experience.
The Asus V470VA comes with a wireless keyboard and optical mouse.
First of all, the main trip looks a bit out, and the whole typing experience was not the smoother, to be honest. It would be better if you bought a better keyboard for your daily use. The same can be said to the mouse as well. The optical mouse is basic and looks a bit cheap when maintained.
The quality of the speaker is where the V470Va surprises it pleasantly. Aio comes with two 5W -speakers that Dolby Atmos Power. The speakers provide a higher output than previous models and easily exceed the Tinny audio you can expect from a factor in a way in one. The sound was decent enough (even in high volumes) to fill a medium -sized room easily.
The IR Retractable 1080p webcam, which supports Windows Hello, is also a remarkable highlight. AI enhancements, such as movement tracking and lighting correction, help users to maintain a professional look during video calls. That said, webcam quality in low light was not so pending during my tests.
ASUS V470VA All-in-One PC Software: Do work
- Operating System – Home Windows 11
- Other features – AI camera, AI noise cancellation
The Asus V470VA is executed in the Windows 11 operating system. As an older chipset feeds it, this machine is not a copilot+ PC. However, there are also some useful AI resources. For starters, the device features AI noise cancellation technology to improve the audio experience. A significant bonus is the inclusion of Microsoft Office Home 2024 (Lifetime License) and a year of Microsoft 365 Basic, which is a good addition.
ASUS V470VA All-in-One PC Performance: Reliable for daily use
- Chipset – 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13620h Processor
- RAM – 16GB LPDDR5
- ROM – 1TB M.2 PCIE 4.0 SSD
The Asus V470VA is fed by an older Intel Core i7 processor I7 that offers 10 nuclei and a watch speed of up to 4.90 GHz. The chipset is equipped with Intel UHD charts. In addition, this device offers up to 16 GB of DDR5 and up to 1 TB of NVME PCIE 4.0 SSD storage, both expandable. However, it is advisable to expand it from a service center to ensure its soft operation.
That said, Aio’s performance is decent for daily use. Whether with streaming, rolling or using various Chrome guides, the device shakes effortlessly for these tasks. This is also reflected in synthetic benchmarks, which are as follows:
Benchmark | ASUS V470VA |
---|---|
Cinebench R23 Single Core | 1829 |
Cinebench R23 Multi Core | 11116 |
Geekbench 6 Single Core | 2519 |
Geekbench 6 Multi Core | 9131 |
PC Mark 10 | 6055 |
3dmark night raid | 15406 |
3Dmark CPU Profile | 5937 |
3dmark steel nomad | 853 |
Crystaldidmark | 6389.55 MB/S (Read) /5719.31 MB/S (Recording) |
The lack of a discreet GPU means that it cannot make a rendering or heavy 3D game. Intel UHD charts are enough for light editing, but fall short to require creative applications. So if you are someone who wants a large screen experience and is not strongly multitasking or uses it for creative purposes, you can still consider this.
ASUS V470VA All-in-One PC Verdict
The Asus V470VA is a decent Aio for this price segment.
To conclude, the ASUS V470VA is a refined all-in-one-one-one that fills many gaps in the previous generation of models. The device is lighter and looks more modern compared to the older models. The large doors also ensure that you can connect and reproduce almost everything on this device. Also, with the HDMI ports inside and out, you can even use it to connect external devices or use it only as an external monitor.
The screen looks good and offers natural colors, while performance is decent enough to deal with most daily tasks except game workloads. That said, the combination of the keyboard and mouse is a disappointment, and the camera may seem to be missing such a large screen. Still, for its price, PC All-in-One offers a good value proposition for money.
