- The rendering confirms the removal of Nothing’s Signature Glyph Lighting System, even though the back panel still retains a peculiar design.
- Nothing Phone 3 is confirmed to be launched on July 1, and is expected to bring a flagship camera, a flagship chip and a large battery for around $ 800.
Update, June 10, 2025 (02:31 PM ET): Earlier today we got to look at a very professional rendering that claimed to portray the upcoming Nothing Phone 3. And while we are still waiting for confirmation of exactly how this phone will appear, some eagle -eyed nothing fans have already come up with an alternative explanation of what the picture can show.
Earlier this year, nothing shared the video above which showed its approach to designing the phone 3A, including a look at the many prototypes along the way. And at the time stamp we have built -in above, you will notice a hand set on the table similar to a striking resemblance to this new rendering (please: Eyal-M at Reddit).
It is very interesting, but it still leaves us more questions than answers when it comes to what we see here. Could nothing be to repurpose that design? Why even produce images like this for a pure prototype? Hopefully we will check out something a little more solid for the weeks until Nothing’s July launch event.

At first glance, Nothing Phone 3 looks like its predecessors. But stare at the rendering for a few seconds, and you will notice that it looks quite clearly despite the fact that it is busy, as it lacks the Glyph interface. Nothing has previously mentioned that it has Killed the Glyph interfaceBut we criticized it up to a marketing retailer and nothing more. With the leaked rendering, the reality is into, and it really looks very dead.
Without the iconic glyph interface, the back panel comes from that is just special about it, not unlike the other Edgy gaming phones out there that goes overboard with back panel graphics. The seemingly “transparent” back panel also does not show the inner of the phone, as most of the working parts look covered from gray sheets. It is not even clear (heh) that the back panel will be clear and not just printed on.
Other remarkable pieces from the leaked rendering include the camera layout (which looks like Surprised Pikachu Meme sideways). Nothing the logo has DOT Matrix Design Language, but the regulatory text does not. We also see a red square in the middle, adding some contrast accent, and there is a white disc over it, which also stands out. We also see the essential key, power button and volume lashes on the side of the device, although it is difficult to say which one is right away.
It is clear (heh again), this leaked render raises more questions than it gives us answers. While the leak has a good track record, we must remember that this is still a leak, so take it with a pinch of salt. We hope nothing has an ace up the sleeve that is not visible (heh x3) in this leaked rendering.
