Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has been confirmed at Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday. The game will be released in 2025 between PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X, with a complete revelation for the end of this summer. Interestingly, a version of Nintendo Switch 2 of the upcoming call work was absent from the announcement, although Microsoft signed a 10 -year contract with Nintendo in 2023 to bring the franchise to its platform. However, Activision has now confirmed that it is working with Nintendo to bring Call of Duty to change.
Activision ‘committed’ to bring cod to change
In a shared statement with IGN, Activision said was “committed to bringing the series to Nintendo’s platform. However, there is no specific mention of Nintendo Switch 2.
“We are committed to getting the franchise on the switch. Both teams are working on it. It will share details when you’re ready,” the statement said.
While the editor committed to bringing the series to Nintendo, it is unclear whether Black Ops 7 will reach Switch 2 at some point.
In 2023, Microsoft signed 10 years licensing agreement with Nintendo to bring Action call for their platforms in an attempt to relieve antitrust concerns about their attempt to acquire Activision-Blizzard. Xbox’s father signed a similar agreement with Sony to continue releasing call of duty games in PlayStation.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is being developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and marks the first consecutive release of Black Ops in the history of COD. The game takes place in 2035, over 40 years after the Black Ops 6 events, and puts players in place of David Mason, the protagonist of Black Ops 2.
“The year is 2035 and the world is on the brink of chaos, devastated by violent conflicts and psychological war after Black Oops 2 and Black Ops 6 events. Using state -of -the -art technology, David Mason and his team must fight a manipulative enemy that will armed fear above all,” the official description in The On The Call of Duty Site read.
A complete revelation and more information about the game is coming late this summer. Black Ops 7 will be released later in 2025 on PC (via Steam, Xbox PC App, Battle.net), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X. The first day with Gambling.
