The Uttarakhand government repressed fake sites involved in helicopter ticket reserve scams. According to a report, fraudsters have created fake ticket reserve sites and are announcing them through social media pages. Uttarakhand police also asked citizens to remain alert, and several social media pages associated with this On -Line blow have been blocked so far.
Kedarnath Yatra Helicopter Billion Scams On Rise
According to a recent reportThe Special Strength of the Uttarakhand Police (STF) closed 51 URLs or websites, 56 bank accounts and 30 WhatsApp numbers associated with helicopter reserve blows. Meanwhile, 111 telephone numbers linked to cyber fraud have been blocked.
Fraudsters are trying to attract pilgrims with false helicopter service tickets. These tickets promise websites that are currently not supported and at a lower price to attract individuals paying cybercriminals. It is said that scammers are using social media pages and websites for this purpose.
Uttarakhand police posted a video On YouTube, earlier this month, alerting travelers to be cautious when booking tickets for on -line helicopters. The video also states that police blocked 37 social media pages that were considered associated with the coup, while the report indicates that even more pages were blocked.
Meanwhile, pilgrims were urged to avoid people who approach them claiming to be an agent or representative of helicopter services. They were also asked to report fraudulent sites or social media pages to UTTARAKHAND STF calling to 1930 or sending an e -mail to CCPS.deh@uttarakhandpolice.uk.gov.in.
