Vodafone Idea (VI) launches an ‘uninternenop hero’ plan with truly unlimited data, called Calcutta and other circles

Vodafone’s idea (VI) On Tuesday announced a new recharge plan for their pre -paid subscribers in Calcutta and select other circles. Nicknamed ‘Hero None -Stop’, it offers truly unlimited data, called unlimited voice and other benefits – all in a single package. The telecommunications operator launched several variations of the pre -paid recharge plan without scales with varied benefits and validity, the latter ranging from 28 to 84 days.

I saw the price of the pre -paid recharge plan without VI scales starts in RS. 398. Offers unlimited local and STD calls, unlimited data all day and 100 SMS per day. This plan comes with a validity of 28 days. It is also offered with a validity of 56 days and 84 days, at the price of RS. 698 and RS. 1,048, respectively. Higher price plans have the same benefits as RS. 398 Pre -paid recharge plan, but has a longer validity period.

The pre -paid recharge plan was introduced to Calcutta, Maharashtra and Goa. In addition to these circles, VI’s uninterrupted heroes packages are also available in Andhra Pradesh & Testrangana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Caxemira, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Assam & Northeast and Orissha.

Citing a recent report from the Center for Digital Economy & Policy Research, VI states that data consumption in India has increased 288 times in the last 10 years. The number of Internet subscribers in India grew from 88.1 crashes by 2023 to 95.4 crashes in March 2024, according to a report by the India Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (Treat). The average monthly use of data per user must also have reached 20.27 GB in March 2024.

The telecommunications operator aims to achieve this growing demand for data and the issue of data exhaust with its new non-stop hero packages, which package truly unlimited, along with voice calls and SMS benefits, promising a data experience without worry throughout their prepaid refill packages.
