  • Android 16 Beta 4.1 delivers corrections for a handful of existing errors.
  • Beta 4 even came back April 17.
  • With plans to hit stack in June, Google does not have long left to complete Prepping Android 16.

Earlier today the Google Curtain withdrew Material 3 expressionsThe last design language revision to debut later this year after Stable release of Android 16. While we are understandably a bit bummed that we have to wait a little longer to go conveniently with all the changes (in spite of Many early previews We have already seen), Google still has something new for us to check out today, as the company shares the latest point release of its Android 16 -beta.

It has been about a month since Google published Android 16 beta 4 for pixel units in the test program. Not only was this our second major platform stability release, something Pixel 9a.

Google Have just released Android 16 Beta 4.1. If you already tested Beta 4, just relax and wait for the update alert to arrive. Like other recent points releases, this is about Bugfixes:

Haptics has been a real thorn in Google’s side with Android 16, and this is not the first time we have seen a note trying to put things right. The battery drainage problem also sounds like a problem we’ve seen appearing in the development before, so hopefully Google gets to the bottom of things now.

With the Beta 3 cycle, there were only a few days between the first release and the first 3.1 update, even quickly followed by 3.2. That it took so long for Google to go from Beta 4 to 4.1, could easily suggest that we are near the end of the road when it comes to these corrections. With June just around the corner, Google doesn’t have long to put all the finishing touches on Android 16.
