An Egyptologist states that he accidentally found a series of secret hieroglyphic inscriptions in an iconic 3300 -year -old Egyptian obelisk in Paris. It is stated that these inscriptions are for the nobility of Egypt and are probably praising the famous Pharaoh Ramese II be ordained by the divine entities. Apparently Pharaoh himself ordered this obelisk at the beginning of his government, and originally was out of the temple of Luxor at the Upper Egypt, alongside another similar obelisk. Both monuments were later presented to France by Pasha Muhammed Ali, the sultan of the Ottoman series.
Discovery of hidden inscription
According to a comment posted by Science and Future From Jean-Guillaume Oteleletier, the Egyptologist of the Catholique Institute of Paris, the hieroglyphics indicated the entrance of the Luxor Temple Portico. He found that there was no literature discussing the different scenes, so he studied the images from afar. He finally found that the obelisk contained hieroglyphic encryption or hidden messages. These cryptographed texts were often secret texts inserted into hieroglyphics or hidden in 3D sculptures. Only the elite could decipher these hidden messages.
The hidden messages on the obelisk’s “Seine” could only be read at an angle of 45 °. Olette-Pelletier found that hidden messages should be seen by nobles who arrived by boat in the Luxor temple during the Opeta Annual Festival, celebrating the return of the lives of the God AMun.
More studies and criticism
According to Olette-Pelletier, he discovered other hidden messages in the obelisk. He stressed, for example, that there are two rows of hieroglyphics that, depending on how they are read, can convey various meanings, such as stating that Rameses II had endless life or writing all their real name.
The findings must be published in Égypte Nilotique et Méditerraneenne magazine. However, scholars who were not involved in the research requested caution in the interpretation of the results, as they will not be able to revise them in depth until the study is published. The teacher of Egyptology Filip Taterka said Live science that inscriptions and images near the top of the obelisk would not have been visible to a noble person traveling by boat to the Nile.
