After months of buzz, you can now get a real glimpse of Core 2 Duo’s Final form – not just Smartwatch In itself, but also the new USB-C charging of dongle and easy packaging it will be sent with.
Pebble founder Eric Migicovsky Written on x During the weekend to confirm that the first group of complete Core 2 duo devices has arrived. While software work is still ongoing, he shared a short video showing the clock. He also confirmed that he had connected it to his phone via Bluetooth and could download Watch Faces.
We had already seen reproductions of the device, and the latest update does not reveal much we did not already know about the clock itself. However, the follow-up post may be the more interesting part, with Migicovsky that reveals early samples of the packaging and a compact USB-C-Dongle connected to the standard Cold Chart.
Designed in collaboration with Nomad, Dongle offers a portable way to operate the device with standard USB-C connectors. It is small enough to attach to a keychain or stash in a bag, and should be a reassuring alternative for long -time pebbles.
No delivery date has been confirmed yet, but this video update is a strong sign that things are moving quickly towards launch.
