Trying to look at the old AI-generated your photos in Chatgpt is not exactly the greatest experience. To get to the old pictures, you have to sifting through your previous calls. But Openai is now making the process easier by rolling out a new way to access your photos.
Today, Openai announced It adds a photo library to Chatgpt. This image library will be available for free, plus and professional users and rolls out on mobile (Android/iOS) and online.
As the company explains, the image you generate is now automatically stored in this library. The library can be found in the left side field online and mobile. When you press the “Library” section, you are greeted by a grid of the old images you generated. There is also a floating “make image” button at the bottom that takes you back to creating pictures. On social media, the company shared a video showing how it all works.
All your photo creations, all in one place.
By tapping in an image you have the option to edit, save or share. You can also delete an image from your library by hovering over the conversation title in the sidebar, clicking on the three dots and selecting Delete. On Mobile, you must press and hold the conversation title instead and then press Delete.
Openai says it “currently fills in all the pictures”, so you may not see all your photos right away. The company states: “It may take a few days to see older pictures.” It also adds that only images made with 4O image generation are added to the library, so do not expect old dalls to appear.
