The pictures come from people here at Android Authority as well as our readers. Everyone is free to use and get without watermarks. File formats are JPG and PNG, and we provide images in both landscape and portrait mode, so they will be optimized for different screens.

Background Wednesday: April 16, 2025
Another week, another set of fantastic Android background images you can share! Remember that we are always looking for submissions from our readers. Take a trip to the bottom of this article to find out how to have one of your photos featured in an upcoming loss on Wednesday!
With that in mind we have six fantastic pictures from our readers who want to look good on the phone, tablet or PC. As usual we also have three pictures from Android Authority team.
First we have a double-whammy shot of a beautiful flower and the Montang Valley behind it. It comes from the reader Bihag Biswas. Speaking of flowers, next time we have some pretty daisies from the reader Shubhajyoti biswas. After that we have a lovely picture of a bird on a cord from the reader A scan. Sadeeeq shot it with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra!! Then we have a fantastic shot of a boat on a pond covered by Lilypads from the reader Krutarth Parikh. Krutarth shot it with a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5!! After that we have a sunset over some water shoot of reader (and frequent contributor) mandarat. Mandar also used the Galaxy S24 ultra for it! Finally, we have a fantastic picture of a horse carriage on a beach from the reader Shaurya Mehta. Shaurya shot it on Nothing phone 2!! Thank you so much for your submissions, everyone!
From Android Authority Team, we have a pretty (but unsolicited) shot of a thorny flower from Zac Kew-aniss. We also have an incredible shot of a beautiful gorge from Rita el khouri. Finally we have a great picture of an old library from Matte horne.

How to submit your own Android background photos
We are very happy to see your own contributions to our loss Wednesdays. Before submitting, here are the rules:
- Your submissions should be your own creation. That means pictures you took, digital art you created, etc. Don’t submit other people’s work – it’s just not cool. Also, Do not send photos cleanly created with AI. They will not be accepted. Images you created and then reinforced with AI tools are ok.
- You must accept to leave Android Authority Share your Android background photos for free with anyone who wants them.
- We do not accept watermarked pictures. However, you will get a credit and a link in the article itself. We can only connect to your social media account.
Ready to submit? Fill out the form below. You must include the highest resolution version of the image you can give, your name and a brief description of what the image is. If you want us to link to a social media page you own in your credit, you can also state it, but it is optional.
