WhatsApp has recently started releasing a new feature that allows you to add music to your WhatsApp status. Like the other social platforms of Meta, Instagram and Facebook, you can now add up to 15 seconds of music to an image and up to 60 seconds when uploading a video. WhatsApp Status Updates-End-to-end-to-end-protected those with the end-to-end cryptography (so that WhatsApp cannot see which songs are added to a status) and will be available for 24 hours after publication.
We tested the new feature that allows you to add music to your status to the latest version of WhatsApp for iOS and Android. Whatsapp status composer now includes a new music icon that displays a pop-up card when played. You can look for specific tracks or select one of several popular tracks in your area.

Open WhatsApp and tap Updates Guide in the lower navigation bar.

Tap Add the status button.

Select an image or video from the built -in media selector.

Tap the new music icon at the top of the screen.

Search a song or select one of the popular tracks listed on the pop-up card.

Drag the slider at the bottom of the screen to select the music part you want to use.

After checking if the correct segment of the track was selected, touch Done to return to the status composer.

Tap the Green button send to post your WhatsApp status.
