Microsoft takes on Google Searchs AI mode with a similar AI-driven bing function. The company says it’s new Copilot Search function combines traditional web search with generative search to provide detailed answers to complex questions. It also offers a more conversation search experience, so users can easily explore topics in depth without restarting.
Microsoft says the new feature uses Copliot’s AI to search the web and offer users an “easy to digest summaries of the most critical points, a clear answer or a smart information setup” to help them find what they are looking for. The answers have clearly cited sources and even include “rich, relevant data, images and videos” relevant to the query.
Copilot Search also offers useful suggestions along with detailed answers to help users find more relevant information. These proposals appear as clickable topics, making it easy for users to carry out follow -up searches and continue to explore a topic.

To get started, navigate to the Bing home page, enter a query and select the Copilot Search Filter on the search results page.
