- Verizon introduces a new three-year price lock policy.
- The policy will be available to Myplan and Myhome network plans.
- Price locking will not on taxes, fees or benefits.
When everything around us continues to become more expensive, Verizon Introduces a new policy to temporarily keep your bill up. However, this new offer comes with a few remarkable warnings.
Today, verizon announced The roll -out of price lock guarantee. Just as it sounds, this policy locks the price of your plan, so the bill will remain the same in the next three years. Whether you are a new or existing customer, you will automatically be registered if you have MyHplan or Myhome. Before you get too excited about this new “guarantee”, know that Verizon put enough leeway in the fine printout to let it raise prices in other ways.
For example, the price lock guarantee only applies to conversation, data and texting. Things such as taxes, fees and benefits are excluded from the policy. If Verizon wants, it can increase the cost of your bill by raising the price of fees. It can also reduce how much of a discount you get for setting up autopay. Verizon also adds that your price lock is reset when you change Myplan. The company can easily convince you to switch to a more expensive plan by offering some kind of advantage or a new phone.
In any case, the new price lock guarantee policy is better than nothing. To top it, the carrier offers a free phone for new and existing customers with an exchange of an Apple, Google or Samsung phone in any state.
