  • Googles start supporting games on Android Auto and Automotive.
  • Android Auto Game Support was first discovered late last month, along with the release of Android Auto 14.1 Beta.
  • It turns out that this beta is not necessary at all, and you can play on Android Auto 14 stalls when using an Android 15 phone.

Cars are much more than just one way for us to get from point A to point B, and considering how much time some of us spend in them, it should be no surprise that the vehicle entertainment in the vehicle is an important priority. These days, the image tables are just as connected and hooked on streaming services as our phones, but there has long been one entertainment option they were missing: Play. Google recently started a unified effort to do something about it and we are now getting some new details on the arrival of games on Android Auto.

At that time, this support was first discovered arrival with Google that began distributing Android Auto 14.1 as a Beta release. And if you may be a little worried about driving a Beta building, it looked like you had to wait.

Well, that turns out that this is not the case at all. 9to5google Have now been able to confirm that games are supported just fine on Android Auto 14 stable, and you don’t have to be involved in the beta at all. Instead, there is another requirement that is played here that we were not even aware of: The phone you use needs to run Android 15.

It is possibly a bit frustrating for many people who were looking forward to a small light game in their cars, which right now Android 15 is still far from pervasively available as an update for older hardware – even though it is a situation that should be quickly improved Very, very soon.
