- Google Maps updates the tour details screen when setting up navigation.
- The new look fits into more information, although some details are reduced.
- A new supplement shows your estimated arrival time, if you are going to leave immediately.
Google maps Packages an incredible amount of information on the phone screens – and it is true even when we do not look at the map itself. From team options to tour settings, Google does a really solid job of making map info-tight, while it still keeps it usable with a moment-not overwhelming us with foreign content, either. Now we are learning about a whole new change to maps that are able to improve things further by refining how tour details appear.
So far, when you enter the destination and set up navigation in maps, the hiking details at the bottom of the screen have been reproduced with a fairly basic appearance, giving the travel time estimate and the distance equal to the font weight. But now 9to5google Have discovered a new look for this corner of the app’s interface that refreshed things up with some new weighting.
After this change, travel time involves several units the primary largest, tucking minutes away during hours. Distance erected is still shown, but it is now made much smaller. Although it sounds like a negative, this extra space allows Google to fit further details, and the view is now picking up a whole new estimated arrival time. Previously, maps would not generate a ETA until after you started navigation.
The new look affects all the different types of travel MAP offers, and has apparently begun to appear from Google’s release of MAP’s version 25.13.06. While 9to5google Reports that see the new interface that are widely distributed, we are still waiting for it, so your mileage can vary when Google tilts things on externally.
Although it takes a bit of an adjustment to get used to, and looks back and forth at the old and new appearance, we quickly come around to Google’s update. Something good, because we really don’t get a lot of words, one way or the other.
