Some Android owners express that their frustrations on social media about a persistent error warning. The alert warns that certain Google apps, such as messages or the Google app, will not work unless you go to the Play Store and update them. When you press the notice, it leads you to the app’s Play Store page without updating waiting for you.
The people over Android -Police Say they met this error on one of their Pixel 9 pro. Tipster @theonecid Have noticed the problem on your device as well. According to the outlet, they run the latest beta for Google Play Services (version 25.10.33). Meanwhile, @theonecid is on the latest stable construction of play services (version 25.09). So it looks like the error can affect you if you’re on a stable or beta channel.
The good news is that despite the error message, these apps still work normally. The bad news, however, is that it is unclear what causes the error notification to trigger. Android -Police Adds that update to the Google App version 16.19.36 appears to have stopped the notice from appearing. But they were unable to confirm whether a newer app version of Google messages would solve the problem.
