Right now, if you go to the Mint’s website and take an annual unlimited plan, you will pay $ 300 in advance – corresponds to $ 25 a month. This already represents a saving of $ 60 compared to the standard $ 30-month price, but for a limited period you can do it even better by shopping at Best Buy.

At the moment, Best Buy offers a 12-month Mint Mobile Unlimited Plan for only $ 240 ($ 20 a month), which is $ 60 less than what you want to pay on the Mint’s website. This is the best deal we have seen on Mint Mobile this year, although it is not as impressive as last year’s annual campaign, which offered unlimited service for the price of the lowest Tier-limited plan. Remember that only new customers are eligible for this offer.

There is a small catch with this campaign, but for most people it should be easy to work around. The plan includes a physical SIM card, which means you will not be able to use ESIM right away. The good news, however, is that you can convert it to an ESIM later – as long as you activate the SIM card in a compatible phone first. When the account is active, you just need to log in to the app to order a replacement SIM. During this process, you have the opportunity to choose ESIM rather than a physical card.

Mint Mobile offers clearly significant savings, but is the service something good? While we take a deeper dive in our depth guide compares Mint versus the three major American carriersHere’s a quick look at what you get for the low price:

  • Unlimited talk, text and data without caps. Mint slowed previous speeds after 40 GB, but now you really get unlimited data without hard limits.
  • The power of T-Mobile’s network for less. Mint runs at the same priority level as T-Mobile’s Base Essentials and Essentials Value Plans, giving you access to T-Mobile’s network, although performance can decrease in times of heavier overload.
  • Online and telephone -based customer support.Although there is no assistance in the store, Mint offers a number of online and telephone -based customer service options.

If you are looking for a reasonable plan that gets the job done without unnecessary accessories, Mint Mobile can be a perfect fit.
