Ayaneo has established itself as one of the few real premium brands in Gaming handheldsWith devices such as Pocket DMG and Pocket Evo Sporting outstanding performance. Now the company has announced two new units with even more power, one that represents new, unexplored territory for the company.
The first device is an update of the flagship Ayaneo Pocket S, properly called Pocket S2. This will be the first unit driven by the new Snapdragon G3 gen 3 processor announced earlier today by Qualcomm. Designed for High-End Gaming-Handen, it offers sustained top performance and improved efficiency for games.
Apart from the chipset, Pocket S2 largely maintains the same design language as its predecessor. It has a flat design with a 6.3-inch 2K IPS screen and a premium full metal CNC body. There is also a new air intake Christian on the back of the unit, which will help keep the new piece in full capacity longer. It is expected to start later this month, although we still have no details of prices or availability.
The other new Surprise Ayaneo device is a game tablet. Called the game pad, it will have the same snapdragon G3 gen 3 processor as pocket S2 for maximum gaming power and efficiency. It has an 8.3-inch 1440p 120Hz LCD game display, with a glass back and a full metal CNC frame. There are also new halls and hall linear triggers for more precise control.
We still don’t know much about the device, but the announcement is an ecosystem of accessories, including a gamepad. With hardcore games in the back, it has an improved cooling system and a large battery capacity, although we do not yet have the exact specifications. It is expected to be launched in May 2025, and competes with such as the Redmagic Nova Gaming tablet.
