- The iPhone 16E users experience intermittent audio stemming when connected to several Bluetooth devices.
- The problem arises first and foremost when using smart watches or workouts with earplugs.
- It is still unclear whether the problem is related to Apple’s new C1 modem, other iPhone 16E machine product or an iOS software error.
The iphone 16e is Apple’s last smartphone and there is a fair simpler interpretation Of what a smartphone is and what it can do. However, we can all agree that connecting your mobile accessories over Bluetooth is something we can take for granted, although this is the first iPhone with Apple’s own C1 modem. Users seem to have problems with the phone, and it has to do with connecting to several Bluetooth accessories at the same time.
Macrumors highlights that there are many complaints on Apple’s support community,, Redditand X From users trying to stream sound over Bluetooth and find that it regularly protrudes or cuts out. The problem here seems to be the phone connected to two or more Bluetooth devices, and with two of these connections trying to communicate at once, causing stuttering that is best observed with audio playback.
I tried to recreate the problem on the iPhone 16e, but couldn’t, at least with a connected Apple Watch and AirPods Pro 2, and even tried to pair with my Windows desktop. From what I can consider across the complaints, the affected people use smart watches and training tracks with Bluetooth-Ear plugs. When both connected devices try to communicate over Bluetooth at the same time, users notice the sound stem.
It is not immediately clear whether this is a problem related to the new Apple C1 modem, other bits of the iPhone 16E machine product, or an iOS 18.3.X software problem. We have contacted Apple for more information and we will keep you updated when we hear back from them.
