- Verizon has lowered the discount it offers for its 5G Home Plus plan.
- The discount is reduced from $ 35 to $ 25, which means new customers now pay $ 55 per month.
- The current price for the package remains unchanged to $ 80 per month.
Between Verizons Home Internet offer, 5G Home Plus subscription is arguably the best option in the group. However, a recent change in the plan has emptied some of the value for new customers.
A subscription to Verizons 5G Home Plus plan costs $ 80, but users can get a discount that knocks $ 35 of the total price. However, Verizon appears to have adjusted this Agreement and reduces the promotional offer to $ 25 for new customers (via Reddit). This means that new customers have to pay $ 55 per month. When it comes to existing customers, it looks like the discount has not changed.
However, this discount reduction is not all bad news. One customer points out that the new $ 55 plan comes with an advantage that allows you to choose a subscription and pay for it through the Verizon invoice. This benefit is said to be worth “at least a value of $ 10”, which constitutes the reduced license. However, if you are not interested in taking advantage of this benefit, you will only pay extra $ 10 for nothing.
By reducing the discount, Verizon is able to charge more for the service without having to say that it increases prices. This change comes when Verizon plans to raise the prices of its Mobile Protection Accounts with four or more lines later this month. The new pricing for Mobile Protect comes into force on March 27.
