Google Photos gets a nice new feature that gives users more control over their backed up photos and videos. The new “undoing device backup” feature, previously rolled out for Google images on iOS, is Finally comes to the Android version of the app.
With the “Anno Device Backup” feature, users of Google Photo’s delete photos and videos stored on Google can be able to affect your copies on their devices. Any media removed with this option will still be available on the device. However, when the Sky security copy is deleted, the Backup Feature in Google Images will automatically be disabled for that device.
How do you use Undo Security Copy in Google Images?
You can follow the steps below to access the new option to delete your photos and video arrangements completely.
- Open the Google Photos app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile picture or initial on top, followed by photo settings, and then backup.
- Scroll to see the goods outside the screen below.
- Press “Undo Backup for this device.”
- Check the box that says: “I understand my photos and videos from this device will be deleted from Google Photos.”
- Tap “Delete Backup of Google Photos.”
