Galaxy S24 Ultra’s sharp corners can tear a hole in your jeans

The Galaxy S24 Ultra are considered one of Top Android flagship of its time. Although the Galaxy S25 Ultra is released, the Galaxy S24 ultra has enough overkill over all the specifications to remain in people’s pockets for many more years to come. However, if you are planning to do so, you should be careful, as many users share how the Galaxy S24 Ultra made a hole in the pocket, quite literally.

Before claiming that people should wear pants that are not so tight or made of better material, I have also experienced the same problem with the Galaxy S24 ultra in more comfortable pairs and with more durable jeans.

As others in the comments in the Reddit thread have pointed out, and as I can witness, you can avoid/delay to tear your pants with the Galaxy S24 Ultra using it with a phone bag that softens the corner. Unfortunately, cases also add good bulk to the phone, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra is already thick to begin with, so this cannot be done for many people.

I also often complained about the sharp corners of the Galaxy S24 Ultra who dug in my palm, which was one of the reasons I eventually got rid of the phone. It was just too uncomfortable to hold. I could handle the injury the phone did on my pants, but my palm is where I drew the line.

One can argue that Samsung has probably received similar feedback and that is perhaps therefore Galaxy S25 Ultra Has rounded corners and is more comfortable to hold. Hopefully we will not see more reports of ripped jeans with the new phone.
