- Early buyers of OnePlus Watch 3 have noticed that there is a typo on the back plate.
- The standard “Made in China” burial sounds “meda in China.”
- OnePlus has now apologized for the typo and says users can send the smart watch back, without any question.
The OnePlus Watch 3 Just launched this week, but it didn’t take long before early buyers noticed anything about SmartWatch. OnePlus now apologizes for the error.
If you are not aware of the peculiar problem of OnePlus Watch 3, several owners have reported finding a typo on the device. This typo appears on the back plate where you usually see the words “made in China.” Instead of “the team in China,” read the words “Meda in China.”
Although this is an embarrassing mistake for the electronic manufacturer, it seems that the company is taking the error in steps. On X (Earlier Twitter), OnePlus has excused to those with affected Smartwatches. It also tries to bring some Levity to the situation by injecting some humor into the message.
UPS, we have the fault!
A typo slipped through and entered the shiny new OnePlus Watch 3. Don’t worry, it was completely unintentional.
But hey, if you’ve already got your watch, you have two options!
In his post, OnePlus says owners have two options. OnePlus jokes that owners can hold the watch and think of it as a “Super Limited Edition” model. The other option is to send the device back, no questions. It then ends the message by stating that it is refreshing to remove the error.
Although it is not ideal, this is at least a mistake most people probably would not have noticed – or even set to be on the back plate – if it had not been pointed out. Despite this error, the device appears to be a pretty solid smart watch. Stay looking for our upcoming review of OnePlus Watch 3.
