Free: Blink gives away cameras if you pay for a subscription

Blink Video Doorbell Head On

All of these offers are available right from Amazon, who happens to own the Blink mark. Again, you can only get these free products if you pay for a whole year of Blink Plus subscription in front, which costs $ 100.

Is the Blink Plus subscription worth it?

Since you basically only pay for the Blink Plus subscription, it’s worth investigating if it’s worth $ 100 dollars. We would say it is definitely if you already considered getting more security cameras and/or door bells from Blink.

Chances are that you would still have signed up for a plan, even if you paid for these Blink devices. You can use Blink cameras and door bells without a subscription, but the free plan is very limited. All it offers is motion alerts and 5-minute live view videos.

The Blink Plus plan offers 90-minute live view videos, 60-day cloud storage for recordings, easy video sharing, personal detection and more. It also gets you 10% discounts on future purchases of blinking units and extended warranty coverage.

The real question is whether you need Blink Plus or can live with the cheaper Blink Basic subscription, which is $ 30 per year or $ 3 monthly. The trick is that the floor plan only covers one unit. Neither does it offer discounts or extended warranty. So as a general rule of thumb, if you only care about the actual price, the Blink Plus plan is more cost-effective if you have more than three flashlights running.

Like other flashlights, it can do the trick if you accept the trade -offs.

Blink Video Doorbell offers 1080p streaming, a local recording option and Alexa Smart Home integration. This package includes Essential Sync Module 2, which plugs into your home.

The Blink Video DoorCell system is already among the cheapest in the industry, so getting it free is actually quite impressive. We like the design, which is more compact than usual, and has a minimalist design that looks very nice.

It’s actually quite good too. The camera registers in 1,080p and has a 135-degree field of view. This unit also supports night vision and two -way sound. It uses two AA batteries, but you don’t have to worry about replacing these very often. The estimated battery life is two years!

This offer also includes the SYNC module 2, which allows local backups. You could Get the doorbell aloneBut why not get the extra module if you don’t pay for it?!

Blink outdoors is a nice camera for Alexa users, as long as you can live within the boundaries.

Blink Outdoor is a weather -resistant HD security camera with Alexa integration and the possibility of local or cloud recording. This package includes two cameras, but not the essential synchronization module 2.

Blink outdoor 4 is a pretty nice camera. As the name implies, it is most intended for outdoor use. It has an IP54 ranking, so it should cope with rain and dust just fine.

This camera is also pickled with features, including night vision, two -way sound, motion detection and personal detection. It can also last for two years on a couple of AA batteries. It will also record 1,080p video and has a 143-degree field of view.

We link to the 2 package because you get it again, so why not get the extra camera? You can choose to Get just one If you prefer. In addition, you can choose to pay extra to get packages of Three cameras or Five cameras.

Blink Mini 2 (2-Pack)

If you prefer something more discreet, the Blink Mini 2 is pretty much a smaller security camera. The main difference is that it is wired, so you never have to worry about batteries.

It still records 1,080p video and has the same field of view of 143 degrees. It is also weather resistant, has night vision and supports two -way sound.

With this bundle you get two cameras. There is a Option for one cameraBut again, you pay the same, so why not just get two?

Blink Wired Floodlight camera

Night vision is nice, but some of you prefer the actual light. Enter Blink Wired Floodlight camera, which is also free if you pay for a 1-year flash plus plan!

This camera comes with two strong lights, which gives 2600 light lights when they detect movement. It is also wired, as the name entails. However, this makes sense. We cannot expect two bright lights to run on the battery.

Otherwise, the camera is very similar to the others. It records 1,080p resolution and has a 143-degree diagonal field of view. Other features include weather resistance, two -way sound, night vision, movement detection and more.

We link to the black version but you can too Get it in white.
