Wooden diorama of barn and scribes found in the ancient Egyptian tomb of Meketre

A wooden diorama that describes a barn with scribes was discovered in the tomb of Meketre, a high -ranking employee of the middle kingdom of ancient Egypt. Found in 1920 in a chamber hidden inside its TEBAS tomb, now known as Luxor, the model dates back to approximately 1980 BC, the artifact highlights the meaning of grain storage and registration maintenance in an agricultural society, where wheat and barley performed a crucial role.
