  • A new leak suggests that Samsung could free up a UI 8 to its devices faster than expected.
  • The Android 16 upgrade may come earlier since Google is targeting a Q2 release for its Pixel phones.
  • This can help Samsung save his face after the significant delay in its UI 7 rollout.

Although it has been four months since Google released the first stable construction of Android 15 For its pixel units, Samsung has not yet rolled out the update to most of their phones. Recent reports suggest that the company can still take a while to give out A Ui 7 Based on Android 15 to the Galaxy S24 series and other devices in the set, with the update that may not come until April or even May. This is quite surprising to a company that has built a reputation for offering timely Android upgrades in recent years, but Samsung may be able to turn things around with the subsequent UI release.

According to delicacies Ice UniverseSamsung may be able to save the face by dropping the One Ui 8 update based on Android 16 to their devices much earlier than expected. Although it is too early to say whether the company will be able to pull off this achievement after such a massive delay, it is quite possible since Google plans to roll out stable Android 16 sometime in the Q2 2025.

In any case, you should not expect to get a UI 8 on your Galaxy smartphone at any time before June this year. Recent leaks suggest that the stable Android 16 pixel units update may be ready by June 3, and it will take Samsung at least a few weeks to test the update on their devices before rolling it out wide.

The Galaxy S25 series will undoubtedly be the first to receive the platform upgrade, especially since the devices are already running a UI 7. Users with older galaxy phones will probably have to wait longer unless Samsung can withdraw a miracle in the coming months and release Android 15 -Update to all qualified devices in the portfolio before Google brings the Android 16 to the Pixel lineup.
