- A fresh Google Home update seems to have prevented some users from accessing security cameras.
- Some users have had partial success when using voice commands as a solution.
- Google Support recognized for a user that the problem was global, although not all users were affected.
Google’s smart The ecosystem is supposed to make life more practical, but a fresh Google Home update seems to have done the opposite for some users -and leaves them unable to access security cameras -feeds.
Report on the problem appeared on RedditWith several users saying that their devices are currently unable to load feeds when prompted. Some have managed to get around the problem using voice commands instead of pressing the Live button on the screen, but others report that even this solution is inconsistent.
The problem does not appear to be universal.
An affected user on the thread contacted Google Support and was told that the problem is a known problem affecting users globally. The support agent confirmed that it had been reported several times and that Google’s engineering team had been informed.
The problem was also reported about Google Community Forum ThreadsAlthough some users say Feeds have started to work again. The problem does not appear to be universal, and two members of Android Authority Employees with a Google Smart Home setup have not experienced any problems.
Currently, those facing problems may be able to try voice commands or reset their devices. We have reached Google for a statement.
