66 years old, this polytechnic graduate has just been appointed president of the academy for a two-year term. He succeeds Michel Wachenheim, former Director General of Civil Aviation.
After four years at the helmAcademy of Air and Space (AAE), Michel Whenheim, former Director General of Civil Aviation, hands over the baton. AAE members unanimously elected their 18th president. It is Bruno Stoufflet, former executive at Dassault Aviation, who is now responsible for continuing the academy’s missions.

Former technology director at Dassault
Bruno Stoufflet has worked for the French aircraft manufacturer Dassault for more than ten years. He held the positions of Director of Innovation and Director of Technology, where he was responsible for preparing future products. He particularly supervised the preliminary projects of air systems. In addition, he was one of the creators of the European Common Company Clean, which became clean aviation and an active member of the Civil Aeronautical Research Orientation Council.
